Every month we will try to highlight other coops across the country. This month, we want to let everyone know about a recently started coop that was started by residents of a neighborhood that can be a considered a food desert in NE Greensboro, NC.
According to reports, after one major grocery store closed back in the 90s, the residents were left without many options for healthy and affordable food. After 15 years, they made a collective decision to do something about their predicament!
